Position Overview:
The Photographer/Videographer role involves capturing high-quality images and videos, ensuring visual excellence for various purposes, such as marketing, storytelling, and documentation, using creative and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Camera Proficiency: Mastery of various camera types (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras) and the ability to operate them effectively, including adjusting settings like ISO, shutter speed, and aperture.
- Lenses: Knowledge of different lens types (wide-angle, prime, zoom) and how to select the appropriate lens for each shot.
- Cinematography Techniques: Knowledge of advanced cinematography techniques such as dolly shots, crane shots, and steadicam operation. Familiarity with shooting in RAW format to maximize post-processing flexibility. Proficiency with gimbal stabilizers, sliders, and other equipment for smooth and steady shots. Understanding and controlling color temperature for balanced lighting.
- Green Screen/Chroma Key/ White & Black Screen: Experience with green screen setups and keying out backgrounds for compositing. White and black screen setup for product photography and videography
- Lighting: Understanding of various lighting setups and the ability to create the desired atmosphere for different projects.
- Audio Capture: Skill in capturing high-quality audio using external microphones and recorders, as well as syncing audio in post-production.
- Drone Operation: If aerial footage is required, knowledge of drone operation and obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in various styles and genres, from corporate videos to artistic short films.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during shoots.
- Creativity: A keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box to bring unique ideas to the table.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in operating cameras, lighting equipment, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom).
- File Management: Organizational skills for managing large volumes of media files efficiently.
